Exploring Sustainability Management: Lessons from Shiseido's Nasu Plant

On April 9, Yachiyo Engineering Co., Ltd., based in Tokyo's Taito Ward, will host a complimentary online seminar titled "Deepening and Implementing Sustainability Management: Learning from Shiseido's Nasu Plant". This event aims to bridge the gap between corporate policies and practical implementation in sustainability efforts.

In today's business landscape, sustainability management is more critical than ever for ongoing growth. Many companies are transitioning from merely developing policies to implementing them effectively in the field. However, this shift often reveals a disconnect between ideals and reality, leaving many practitioners grappling with this challenge. This seminar intends to address those concerns by showcasing best practices and innovative strategies in sustainability.

The seminar will feature Kunihiko Taguchi from Shiseido's Nasu Plant, who will share insights on the process of integrating water stewardship practices with regional stakeholders and administration. He will provide an in-depth look at how Shiseido successfully engages with the community to align with their corporate sustainability strategies. This applies not only to case studies but will also emphasize proactive strategies for risk management and enhancing corporate value.

Participants will gain valuable insights into how to accurately align company-wide strategies with on-the-ground efforts, build a cohesive organizational framework, and foster co-creation with various stakeholders to develop unique brand value. This seminar is particularly beneficial for executives and operational leaders seeking to enhance their sustainability practices.
