Amy Madigan to Receive the 2026 MUAHS Distinguished Artisan Award



Oscar-nominated actress Amy Madigan is set to be honored with the prestigious Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild (MUAHS) Distinguished Artisan Award at the 13th Annual MUAHS Awards. This distinguished recognition will occur on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2026, at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles. The event will be presented by L'Oréal Groupe and Giovanni Eco Chic Beauty, and will be hosted by actress Rachael Harris.

The MUAHS Awards celebrate exceptional contributions in the artistry of makeup and hairstyling across various entertainment platforms, including feature films, television, live performances, and theme parks. For Madigan, this honor acknowledges her outstanding career and her vital collaboration with makeup and hairstyling artists.

Madigan is well-known for her diverse performances in both film and television, making her mark as an Academy Award nominee and a Golden Globe winner. She currently shines as Aunt Gladys in the acclaimed film Weapons, which has already grossed over $269 million globally and has earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in this year’s Academy Awards.

The actress was first nominated for an Oscar for her celebrated role in Twice in a Lifetime, cementing her as a skilled actress with an illustrious career. Throughout her journey, she has been involved in notable films such as Field of Dreams, Gone Baby Gone, and Uncle Buck, to name a few. Her recent work includes a starring role in Rebuilding and filming for the upcoming Apple feature, Sponsor.

Madigan’s television accolades include a Golden Globe win along with an Emmy nomination for her role in Roe vs. Wade.
