Carrier's Innovative Data Center Cooling Solutions at Interop Tokyo 2025

Carrier's Participation in Interop Tokyo 2025

Carrier Japan, based in Shinagawa, Tokyo, is excited to announce that it will participate in Interop Tokyo 2025 from June 11 to June 13 at Makuhari Messe. This event marks a significant opportunity for Carrier to unveil its global data center cooling solutions to the Japanese market for the first time.

As a subsidiary of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), a leader in providing intelligent solutions for issues like climate change and energy challenges, Carrier Japan is well-positioned to introduce innovative cooling technologies tailored for data centers. The company has a long history of introducing the Universal Smart X (USX)® series modular chillers, which have been successfully implemented across Japanese data centers.

During Interop Tokyo 2025, Carrier will showcase a strategic product lineup aimed at the Asian market, focusing on its future initiatives in the data center sector. This includes:
  • - USX Series Modular Chillers: Already gaining traction domestically for data center applications.
  • - 19DV Turbo Chillers: Utilizing ultra-low GWP (Global Warming Potential) refrigerants and ceramic bearings.
  • - 30XF Chiller: A new product to be introduced in the Japanese market, also utilizing ultra-low GWP refrigerants. This chiller boasts features like free cooling for enhanced energy efficiency during winter and ultra-fast recovery, capable of restarting within 120 seconds after a power outage.

The exhibition will be supplemented by videos and panel displays of secondary solutions such as cooling distribution units (CDUs) and air handling units, providing a comprehensive view of the systems integrated with Carrier’s cooling solutions.

Seminar on Data Center Cooling Strategies

In addition to the exhibition, Carrier Japan will host a seminar titled "Carrier's Data Center Cooling Strategies in the Asian Market" on June 12 from 15:10 to 15:50 in Room E of the exhibition hall. The seminar will be led by Hideki Tanno, Carrier Japan's Sales Engineering Manager, and will cover:

  • - Insights into the upcoming launch of the 30XF chiller.
  • - Carrier's overall strategy for cooling solutions tailored to data centers across the Asia region, along with future prospects in the Japanese market.

Attendees can gain valuable insights into the future of cooling equipment in data centers and new options available in the rapidly evolving technology landscape.

Carrier Japan’s President, Tohru Kubo, emphasized, "This exhibition represents an essential opportunity to bridge Carrier's global strategies with the specific needs of the Japanese market. We aim to deliver peace of mind and optimal solutions to our clients, leveraging our long-standing expertise in cooling technology and service."
