Geek+ Sees Incredible Growth in Subscription-Based Services Amid Record Orders in 2026

Geek+ Reports Spectacular Growth in Subscription Services

In a recent announcement, Geek+ (stock code 2590.HK), a global leader in intelligent robotics, presented its interim results for the first half of 2026, revealing an impressive 35.5% increase in orders compared to the previous year. This surge highlights the significant breakthroughs within the company, propelled by advancements in artificial intelligence and embodied intelligence, as well as a solid global expansion strategy.

Key Financial Highlights

The company reported new orders totaling approximately 2.385 billion RMB, marking a remarkable ascent that places Geek+ at the forefront of the robotics industry. Revenue also increased year-on-year by 25.3% to 1.284 billion RMB, alongside an improvement in gross margin rising to 35.8%. Notably, the adjusted net loss declined by 32.1% to 60.6 million RMB. Without the R&D investments of 44.5 million RMB in embodied intelligence, the loss was significantly reduced to 16.1 million RMB. This indicates that the core business is nearing profitability.

Subscription-Based Services: A New Growth Engine

The most striking aspect of Geek+’s latest results is the explosive growth in subscription-based services. The volume of subscription orders reached 156 million RMB, a staggering increase of over 75% year-on-year. With an installed customer base of 1,000 clients and 81,000 robots deployed globally, the company is transitioning from one-off project engagements to long-term operational services. This shift to a high-margin, recurring revenue model is enhancing business predictability and customer retention.

Significant demand has emerged in mature overseas markets, with subscription orders in North and South America soaring by 455% compared to last year, offering ample opportunities for further global expansion.

Diverse Business Strength

Beyond subscription services, several areas within the business matrix demonstrated robust performance. Orders in the “Pallet-to-Person” category skyrocketed over 200%, solidifying Geek+’s market leadership. Manufacturing orders saw an astonishing growth of over 600%, extending from warehouse operations to production logistics. Additionally, products featuring integrated intelligence established partnerships with several Fortune Global 500 companies, facilitating the global scaling of their extensive business networks.

Profitability and Global Reach

In the first half of 2026, Geek+ achieved a total gross profit of 460 million RMB, up 27.8% year-on-year, with a gross margin widening from 35.1% to 35.8%. Notably, over 75% of total revenue came from foreign markets, underscoring the high-value potential of their globalized products and services. By the end of the reporting period, Geek+ served over 1,000 end customers across more than 40 countries and regions, including over 85 Fortune Global 500 firms, with a repurchase rate of up to 80%. As per Interact Analysis, Geek+ has maintained the largest market share of autonomous mobile robots (AMR) for seven consecutive years.

Future Outlook: Focusing on Three Growth Engines

Looking ahead, Geek+ aims to concentrate on three strategic directions: AI-driven subscription services for intelligent operations, product innovation across various applications, and the commercialization of embodied intelligence.

In August, the company launched the new “RoboShuttle-Hyper” Tote-to-Person climbing solution, offering a system throughput of 6,000 containers per hour, targeting fast-paced MFC front storage operations, which is projected to reach $55.18 billion by 2030. Concurrently, integrated technological foundations and core components across product lines continue to deliver economies of scale and cross-selling advantages, further supporting sustained performance growth.

As a second growth curve, embodied intelligence is set to transition from order fulfillment to contributing to scale. Building on the data flywheel and GINO-ECO ecosystem strategy, the group anticipates cumulative deliveries exceeding 10,000 units in three years, expanding applications from warehousing to manufacturing and retail scenarios.
