Farizon SV Competes for the International Van of the Year
Farizon's latest electric commercial vehicle, the Farizon SV, has made the shortlist for the esteemed 2026 International Van of the Year (IVOTY) award. This announcement comes minutes before the final winner is revealed at the Solutrans Expo in Lyon, France, on November 19.
Recognizing Excellence
A judging panel made up of experts from 26 countries evaluated numerous new light commercial vehicles (LCVs) released globally this year. One of the primary considerations in their deliberations was the vehicle's contribution to elevated standards of efficiency and safety.
Jarlath Sweeney, Chairman of the International Van of the Year Award, stated, "We are witnessing an exciting era in our industry, where new players with innovative concepts are entering the market, creating new segments and solutions based on emissions-free technologies. These new brands are a welcome addition, and their participation alongside established names significantly complicates our voting decisions."
Cook Xue, CEO of Farizon Auto International Company, emphasized their vision: "Four years ago, we set out to develop and build the world's best commercial vehicle. The IVOTY nomination acknowledges the hard work of our engineers and manufacturing team dedicated to producing the Farizon SV. It's a remarkable achievement, and we eagerly await the outcome in November."
Technical Prowess of the Farizon SV
The Farizon SV is not merely another electric van; it showcases advanced innovations including Drive-by-Wire technology, a one-of-a-kind concealed B-pillar design, and a Cell-to-Pack battery structure, collectively offering unrivaled loading capacity. Depending on the market, the Farizon SV model lineup includes battery options of 49 kWh, 67 kWh, or 83 kWh, or alternatives of 66 kWh and 106 kWh. Models can achieve peak output of 200 kW (272 PS) and a maximum torque rating of 343 Nm.
