World Cities Summit 2026: A Milestone Event
The upcoming World Cities Summit (WCS) 2026, set to unfold from June 14 to 16 in Singapore, marks a significant milestone as the 10th edition of this renowned event. Hosted by the Centre for Liveable Cities (CLC) and the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) of Singapore, this biennial summit provides an important platform where global leaders in government, industry experts, and academics convene to address pressing challenges related to urban livability and sustainability.
Over the past nine editions, WCS has welcomed more than 140,000 delegations from over 250 cities worldwide, underscoring its status as a key gathering for urban leaders. In the previous session held in 2024, the summit attracted approximately 3,500 delegates from nearly 100 cities, including around 115 mayors and municipal leaders. The event not only promotes knowledge exchange but also connects sponsors, businesses, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with cities and potential partners.
