SINEXCEL Achieves Prestigious VDE Certification for 1725-kW Power Conversion System

SINEXCEL's Milestone in Energy Solutions

SINEXCEL, a leading innovator in modular energy storage and electric vehicle charging systems, has proudly announced that its 1725 kW Power Conversion System (PCS) has successfully achieved the rigorous VDE 4110 and 4120 certifications by TÜV Süd. This certification is renowned in Europe as one of the most stringent compliance standards, emphasizing high requirements for network connection and performance.

Understanding VDE 4110 and 4120 Certifications

The VDE 4110 standard focuses on medium-voltage systems, while the VDE 4120 pertains to high-voltage applications, both ensuring compliance with the highest quality and performance characteristics required for connected systems. These certifications demand robust operational protocols concerning network stability, protection mechanisms, and compliance with operational standards, including severe voltage deviation, frequency response, and reactive power control functions.

SINEXCEL showcased its technical prowess by successfully passing the TR3 testing, TR4 modeling, and the subsequent TR8 certification process. This accomplishment solidifies SINEXCEL's ability to meet global network standards, furthering its reputation as a reliable provider of energy solutions.

Modular Design and Performance

Designed with scalability in mind, the 1725 kW PCS features a modular architecture allowing configurations ranging from 215 kW to 1.72 MW per unit. This flexibility enables deployment in various energy storage applications, including the replacement of central or string inverters while supporting multiple battery configurations. With a remarkable efficiency rating reaching 98.5%, the system employs multi-string technology that ensures optimal battery safety, thus contributing to cost reduction through peak-shaving and load-shifting features.

The device's dual AC and DC outputs facilitate streamlined control over energy management while enhancing redundancy and operational availability. The NEMA-3R certified enclosures ensure durability in harsh environmental conditions, alongside a rapid response time of just 10 milliseconds for real-time grid balancing. Furthermore, the 1725 PCS aligns with industry standards across multiple regions, including North America, Europe, Australia, and Japan.

Expanding Global Compliance and Market Presence

The attainment of these certifications signals a significant step forward for SINEXCEL in its global compliance efforts, raising the number of its certified models to over 60 and achieving network connection certifications in more than 40 countries—including certification under VDE standards in the United Kingdom, Austria, and Germany.

This latest success reinforces SINEXCEL's commitment to delivering high-performance energy solutions that align with the burgeoning demands of the evolving energy landscape while promoting energy independence.
