MAZZEL Completes Their First Nationwide Arena Tour
The dance and vocal group MAZZEL, signed under BMSG, successfully completed their inaugural nationwide arena tour titled "MAZZEL 1st Arena Tour 2026 'Shall we hit the Banquet?" on June 7, 2026, at the National Yoyogi Stadium in Tokyo. The tour, which included 11 performances across four cities, kicked off on April 25, 2026, in Hyogo at the GLION ARENA KOBE, where all initially planned nine shows sold out due to overwhelming demand. The response led to an added performance on June 6-7 at the National Yoyogi Stadium.
The tour showcased the thematic elements of their second album, "Banquet," which was released in April. This album quickly became a hit, topping various digital music charts, such as Billboard JAPAN and Oricon’s weekly digital album rankings.
A Spectacular Stage Set
The concert opened with the exciting concept song "BANQUET BANG," featuring impressive stage visuals reminiscent of the music video, including iconic round tables. MAZZEL's energetic performance captivated the audience, creating an electric atmosphere from the onset. Fans were treated to live renditions of new songs from their album, like "MAKERZ" and "T.O.P," alongside beloved tracks such as "Trap," "DANGER," and "K&K," keeping the momentum going throughout the show.
Collaborations and Surprises
In the latter half of the performance, the band MAD MAGAZINE, comprising drums, guitar, and keyboard, made a special guest appearance. They energized the crowd with their arrangements of famous tracks, starting with "HERO SUIT -All Members ver.-" and culminating in a powerful rendition of "Only You."
The emotional highlight came with "Clover," a song that communicated EIKI's heartfelt message directly to the crowd, enveloping everyone in a wave of emotion. Adding to the excitement, a surprise appearance by Gachapin and Mukku, who collaborated on the song "Get Up And Dance," sent the venue into a frenzy. The show concluded with a poignant performance of "The Voice," beginning with solo acapella segments from the members, which showcased MAZZEL's remarkable presence and vocal abilities, leaving the audience in awe after a 2.5-hour spectacular show.
A New Release and Fan Tour Announcement
The concert also introduced a new song titled "So Strawberry," a summer anthem characterized by its addictive beats and themes of thrilling romance. The audience erupted in cheers when it was announced that this track would be released as a digital single on June 22, 2026.
In addition, MAZZEL will embark on a fan meeting tour titled "MAZZEL 2nd Fan Meeting -Play at the MUZEUM Vol.2-" this fall, visiting 20 cities across the country.
