A Musical Milestone: Grand Bach String Quartet's Inaugural Concert
Nestled in the serene beauty of Atami, Hotel Granbach Atami Crescendo is gearing up to celebrate its 10th anniversary on July 21, 2026. As part of this milestone, the hotel will unveil the Grand Bach String Quartet, an embodiment of its commitment to music and wellness, with a special concert on July 18, 2026.
Since its inception, Hotel Granbach has provided guests with enriching experiences through the healing power of music across its four locations. This year marks a new beginning as the hotel introduces the Grand Bach String Quartet, which aims to foster emerging talent and create novel opportunities for musical expressions.
The quartet was curated by Nobuki Okumura, a conductor and producer known for his work in orchestras and various creative projects. He selected esteemed musicians, including the concertmaster of the Tokyo Orchestra Presenter, Soko Eriguchi, and principal cellist Tamami Shimoyamada. Joining them are promising young artists Ryotaro Kai and Shota Sakachi, who are already making waves in the musical scene.
On the evening of July 18, 2026, guests can expect a delightful array of classical compositions, showcasing the rich textures and soothing harmonies that only a string quartet can deliver. The audience will be treated to an engaging performance that highlights the talent and diversity of the four members, bridging generational gaps and musical styles in a vibrant showcase.
The concert will take place in the Bay View Salon, with doors opening at 16:30. Guests will be welcomed with a delightful aperitif and finger foods followed by the performance from 17:00 to 17:50. For hotel guests, attendance is complimentary, while general admission tickets are priced at 6,500 yen (tax included). With only 35 seats available, reservations can be made via phone at 0557-82-1717.
