The Meadows Foundation has appointed Monica Christopher as its new Chief Philanthropy Officer, a strategic move aimed at enhancing the philanthropic efforts of the organization across Texas. This announcement comes at a pivotal moment when many communities are seeking robust leadership in addressing their humanitarian needs.

Ms. Christopher, who will collaborate closely with Foundation President and CEO, Eric R. Meadows, has a reputation for excellence in philanthropy. “Monica has exactly the leadership and experience this moment calls for,” stated Mr. Meadows. Her deep understanding of the role of collaboration in philanthropy makes her a vital asset for the Foundation.

Previously, as the Dallas Campus President of Texas Woman's University (TWU), Monica spearheaded numerous philanthropic initiatives and had a role in fostering strategic growth within the campus community. She had successfully built partnerships and programs at the Communities Foundation of Texas in her former role as Senior Vice President and Chief Giving and Community Impact Officer. This experience underscores her capacity to lead significant philanthropic endeavors and foster collaborations that drive impactful change.

With Monica expected to wrap up her responsibilities at Texas Woman’s University, she is set to officially join The Meadows Foundation on February 17.
