Ashley for the Arts Concludes Another Unforgettable Festival



The Ashley for the Arts festival, held from August 7 to 9 in Arcadia, Wisconsin, marked another successful gathering of art and music enthusiasts. This annual event offered a wealth of entertainment and family-friendly activities, attracting tens of thousands of visitors ready to enjoy a spectacular three-day experience.

With a diverse array of performances, festival-goers were treated to a top-notch lineup that included popular acts such as Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, and Third Eye Blind. The festival atmosphere buzzed with excitement as attendees roamed through a vibrant marketplace showcasing over 90 unique art and craft vendors. In addition to live music, the festival boasted numerous food stalls, interactive art experiences, an inflatable air park, and engaging street performances.

Over the weekend, Ashley for the Arts raised an impressive $715,000 benefiting close to 70 nonprofit organizations, reaffirming its commitment to community support. A heartfelt recognition ceremony was held for Nurse Ruby Bradley, during which a monument was unveiled at Soldiers Walk, honoring her contributions.

The festival's kick-off was a lively opening night featuring a diverse range of entertainers. The evening concluded with a dazzling fireworks display that lit up the night sky, leaving the crowd in awe. The Pursuit of a Cure Glow Run also garnered attention, attracting over 330 participants who lit up the pathway with neon colors as they ran with enthusiasm.

Despite early weather challenges on Saturday, spirits remained high as festival-goers enjoyed a variety of activities. The “Ashley Zone” highlighted Ashley Furniture's commitment to community engagement, showcasing initiatives like Heartworks and Wreaths Across America. Guests participated in hands-on experiences in the interactive “How It's Made” section, where they designed their own Ashley products.

The festival was not only about music and art; it also focused on inclusivity and fun for all ages. Families enjoyed various budget-friendly activities, from mini golf and BINGO games to a petting zoo and STEM education challenges. Local school performances and engaging demonstrations contributed to the rich tapestry of entertainment offered throughout the weekend.
