Dive into the Ube HADO Fest 2025

On November 2, 2025, the Ube HADO Fest 2025 will take place at Historia Ube, located in Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. This festival is set to provide a unique blend of real-life and digital experiences through augmented reality (AR) with a focus on bringing communities together through enjoyment and competition.

Event Overview

The festival is designed for everyone, regardless of age or experience level. Participants can choose from three main categories:
1. Enjoy Division (Beginner Friendly)
2. Expert Division (For Seasoned Players)
3. Corporate/Organization Division

The best part? It's free to participate! All attendees must register in advance, and the application deadline is October 25, 2025.

Categories Explained

1. Enjoy Division

• - Format: 3 vs. 3 Team Matches
• - Eligibility: Open to all ages and genders
• - Event Time: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• - Details: Each team will play two matches throughout the day. Participants under 7 must be accompanied by a guardian, and please refrain from wearing sandals or heels.

2. Expert Division

• - Format: Competitive matches between teams from across Japan.
• - Eligibility: Requires experience in HADO.
• - Event Time: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• - Awards: A cash prize of ¥50,000 and local specialties will be given to the winners. Traveling teams from outside the prefecture will also receive support for travel costs up to ¥30,000.
• - Team Limit: A maximum of 8 teams can participate (lottery will be held if oversubscribed).
