Inaugural Asset Management Career Expo

The Investment Trust Association and Gaishi Shukatsu Dot Com are collaborating to host the first-ever Asset Management Career Expo on June 21, 2025. With the theme of nurturing talents who can challenge themselves globally and create a bright future, this event is set to attract students pursuing careers in the asset management and investment sectors.

Purpose of the Expo

The goal of the Asset Management Career Expo is to provide a comprehensive platform where major domestic and international asset management firms can meet with students seeking careers in finance. Participants will gain insights into the true allure of the industry and its career potential from professionals actively working in the field.

The asset management sector plays a vital role in the finance industry, as it involves analyzing economic trends and corporate movements for investment decisions. This includes managing pensions, insurance funds, and personal assets, which are crucial for stable long-term growth. The Expo aims to enhance understanding of the industry among students and raise awareness of its significance in supporting individuals' lives and contributing to the overall wealth creation in society.

Event Highlights

On the day of the event, students will have the opportunity to participate in sessions focused on Career and Growth, featuring young professionals sharing their experiences, as well as a session promoting Women’s Empowerment in the industry. Additionally, a keynote speech discussing the future of the Japanese economy and asset management sector is scheduled.

The Asset Management Career Expo is expected to attract students who not only aspire to join the asset management sector, but also those who may have had limited exposure to the industry thus far, providing a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding.
