GMCC & Welling Unveil Innovative HVAC Solutions at AHR Expo 2025

On February 11, 2025, in Orlando, FL, GMCC and Welling, renowned leaders in HVACR core component solutions, made a significant impact at the AHR Expo by presenting a range of innovative products specifically developed for the North American market.

The expo showcased an impressive lineup of components including scroll compressors, rotary compressors, reciprocating compressors, and motors, all designed for multiple HVAC applications. These products cater to various sectors such as household and commercial air conditioning, heat pumps, and thermal management systems. In particular, special attention was given to the unique challenges posed by the extreme winters in North America, leading GMCC & Welling to introduce their state-of-the-art Cold Climate Heat Pump Solutions.

The highlight of their presentation was the introduction of high-performance heat pump compressors which utilize advanced inverter technology and Enhanced Vapor Injection (EVI). This innovative combination significantly boosts heating performance even in frigid conditions while maintaining low noise levels and vibration, ensuring a quieter operation. Furthermore, the compressors have been designed to be compatible with eco-friendly refrigerants including R454B, R32, and R410A, marking GMCC's commitment to sustainable development and energy efficiency.

One of the standout achievements at the expo was the unveiling of the specially designed Inverter Scroll Compressors for Cold Climate Heat Pumps. The compressors are suitable for both commercial and light commercial applications and further contribute to the sustainability initiative by being capable of utilizing eco-friendly refrigerants.

Welling Motors provided a well-rounded portfolio, encompassing various motor types such as PSC motors, ECM motors, BLDC motors, providing comprehensive solutions for the North American HVAC market. Products on display also included Ultra Efficient Inverter Recip Compressors designed for household refrigerators and high-displacement models tailored for commercial use, showcasing their impressive reliability and strong performance metrics.
