KAGAWA Christmas Market 2025: A European Winter Wonderland in Takamatsu

The picturesque Sanport Takamatsu is set to host its inaugural KAGAWA Christmas Market from December 12 to 25, 2025. This much-anticipated event takes place at the newly opened Anabuki Arena, bringing the charming atmosphere of European winter markets to Japan.

A Warm and Festive Atmosphere

As you stroll through the market, you’ll be greeted by charming wooden chalets, reminiscent of traditional German and Scandinavian Christmas markets. Visitors can indulge in cozy beverages like mulled wine and hot chocolate while browsing an array of unique handcrafted goods and delectable sweets. The ambiance will be enhanced by twinkling lights and lively music, creating a winter wonderland that attracts families and couples alike throughout the day and night.

A Spectacular Christmas Tree

One of the main attractions of the market is a magnificent 10-meter tall Christmas tree placed at the center of the event space. As the sun sets, the tree will light up with festive illuminations, transforming Sanport Takamatsu into a fairy-tale scene perfect for photo opportunities. A special lighting ceremony will amplify the holiday spirit as attendees gather to celebrate the season together.

Winter Activities for Everyone

The market will offer engaging experiences suitable for all ages. • - Age Requirement: Open to individuals aged 4 and older, with adult supervision required for younger children. Please remember to wear gloves and socks while skating.
