The 29th Game Industry Networking Event: A Summary
On December 5, 2025, the Marketing Association, a company specializing in game support services, co-hosted the 29th Game Industry Networking Event in collaboration with Techotech. The event took place in the bustling heart of Tokyo, showcasing the importance of networking within the gaming industry.
What is the Game Industry Networking Event?
The primary aim of the Game Industry Networking Event is to build meaningful connections among professionals in the gaming sector. The Marketing Association has been providing a service called "Game Support Plus," which caters to a variety of user support needs across consumer, online, mobile, social, and native applications. This event, which has now been held over 20 times, focuses on two core objectives:
1. To understand the industry's needs and realities in greater depth, enabling providers to offer better services.
2. To foster relationship-building and create new business opportunities for participants.
Participants from diverse backgrounds, including game planners, engineers, and creators, gathered to exchange insights and experiences.
Highlights of the Event
Continuing from our previous event in July, this iteration took place at Techotech's Shibuya office. The office was adorned with a majestic Christmas tree and colorful balloons, celebrating a recent birthday of Techotech's President, Tsurisaki. Attendees were greeted at the entrance by a creatively decorated sign, a touch that brought a personalized feel to the gathering.
Event Flow
The event unfolded according to the following schedule:
- - Opening Remarks: Welcoming participants and outlining the agenda.
- - Company Introductions: Each company, including the Marketing Association and Techotech, presented their services and business models.
- - Breakout Sessions: Participants engaged in discussions centered around the theme: "How AI is Changing Work Dynamics." Supervisors guided these discussions to promote thoughtful exchange.
- - Networking Session: This informal part of the event allowed participants to interact freely and discuss various topics related to the gaming industry.
- - Closing Remarks: Thanking attendees and summarizing event highlights.
Company Introductions
The event commenced with introductions from various companies. Each participant took turns discussing their business offerings, fostering an environment of shared learning and collaboration. Everyone listened attentively, indicating a keen interest in each company’s contributions to the gaming landscape.
Breakout Sessions and Discussion
Following the company introductions, the focus shifted to breakout sessions where groups of four to five people were formed. Participants engaged in discussions on selected themes and later presented their findings. The discussions revolved around various facets of AI's impact on work processes, covering points such as:
- - The dual nature of AI; its potential benefits and challenges.
- - Everyday usage of AI for email and personal communications.
- - The need for companies to recruit individuals who can effectively utilize AI technology.
The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with dynamic exchanges, illustrating the participants' shared concerns and curiosities about evolving work practices.
