The Op Games Expands Its 2026 Lineup
As anticipation builds for the New York Toy Fair, The Op Games—known for its beloved board games and puzzles—announces a stunning expansion of its 2026 product offerings. From February 14-17, in booth #303, attendees will get a firsthand look at innovative new titles and strategic collaborations that aim to enhance family gaming experiences across all generations.
Following the success of last year's hit, Flip 7, The Op Games is not resting on its laurels. This year’s lineup will include several new editions of this popular party game, alongside licensed versions featuring cherished brands, such as National Parks and Liquid Death. The Flip 7 phenomenon has resonated with gamers at all levels, becoming a keystone in The Op's collection of party games and paving the way for future successes.
Strategic Partnerships
In a move to diversify and strengthen its portfolio, The Op Games is kicking off new partnerships that will significantly amplify its reach. One of the standout collaborations is with Weast Coast, a game studio recognized for its immersive illustrations and engaging gameplay. Together, they will launch exclusive versions of two popular games, Snakes of Wrath and Desperate Oasis, available at Walmart this fall.
Snakes of Wrath is an abstract two-player game known for its strategic depth and simple rules. In contrast, Desperate Oasis offers a tactical card game experience where players compete for control of life-sustaining desert sanctuaries. The Weast Coast team expressed their excitement at teaming up with The Op, noting their enthusiasm for finding a partner that values the integrity of game design as much as they do.
Beyond this exciting collaboration, The Op is partnering with Culls Games and introducing CULLS®, a new game designed by Rob Nelson, who is also the mind behind Big League Chew bubblegum. Priced at $19.97, CULLS® is marketed as a strategic game that combines the familiarity of Five in a Row with surprises that challenge the norm. It will be the inaugural addition to The Op’s upcoming “Modern Classics” line, feature games that take traditional concepts and revitalize them for today’s players.
Commitment to Growth
Dane Chapin, CEO of The Op Games, shared his enthusiasm about showcasing these innovations at the Toy Fair, stating that it symbolizes a year of strong growth, creativity, and collaboration. The event represents the perfect venue to reveal what’s next for The Op, reinforcing their commitment to not just innovate but to also collaborate with other game creators to bring even more engaging experiences to the market.
David Blanchard, Director of Party and Family Games at The Op, added: “Many companies would be thrilled to add just one of these games to their portfolio. To bring four truly timeless titles into our lineup at once is both a rare opportunity and a natural fit for our brand.
