EcoFlow Launches Exciting Black Friday Campaign for STREAM AC 5000 Home Battery in Netherlands

EcoFlow's Black Friday Promotion: A Game Changer for Home Energy Management

As the winter season approaches, EcoFlow, a leading provider of home energy storage solutions, is set to introduce a lucrative Black Friday campaign in the Netherlands, running from November 10 to November 30, 2026. This promotion highlights the STREAM AC 5000 home battery, which comes with exciting offers, including a complimentary P1 meter that features new software functions aimed at illustrating the benefits of energy savings throughout the winter months.

Why Start This Winter?

The campaign underscores the importance of adopting home energy storage systems during a time when households are often home and consuming more electricity due to heating systems, lights, and various appliances. Given that days are shorter and solar panel output declines, every kilowatt-hour of self-generated energy becomes more critical. The STREAM AC 5000 effectively stores surplus solar energy produced during sunny days, allowing households to utilize that energy in the evening rather than selling it back to the grid, often at low rates or incurring feed-in tariffs. With the upcoming elimination of the net metering policy on January 1, 2027, self-consumption will become essential for maximizing the returns on solar investments.

A Perfect Fit for Existing Solar Installations

Designed specifically for Dutch households already equipped with solar panels but lacking a battery, the STREAM AC 5000 seamlessly integrates with existing photovoltaic installations and the P1 meter, meaning there’s no need for costly modifications to existing systems. Each unit delivers 5 kWh of storage capacity and supports an output power of up to 3,000 W—which is sufficient to power essential appliances like washing machines, dishwashers, and dryers. Households can start with a single unit and later expand their capacity by adding Extra Batteries without replacing existing equipment.

Enhanced Visibility and Usability

New software features are geared toward making the battery’s value more apparent to users. The EcoFlow app’s homepage will now display savings from both solar energy and dynamic tariff use, providing users with clear insights into their savings. In addition, future integration with Home Assistant will enable automated energy management within a smart home system, allowing users greater flexibility and control over their energy consumption patterns.

Optimized for Economic Benefits

According to Arne Herkelmann, Senior Product Manager at EcoFlow Europe, the winter season presents a significant opportunity for energy savings, especially since there’s often a mismatch between the timing of solar energy production and household usage patterns. The battery effectively shifts surplus energy from daylight hours to evening hours, complementing dynamic contracts that allow users to utilize stored energy when electricity prices are high. This functionality is vital as households strive to adapt to the new energy landscape following the impending changes to net metering.

Special Black Friday Pricing

From November 10 to 30, EcoFlow will offer the STREAM AC 5000 at €1,399, with a free P1 meter included. Customers can also take advantage of further discounts of €100 for orders over €2,599 and €250 for orders exceeding €2,999. This special pricing applies to both the new STREAM generation and previous models. Additionally, customers have the option to pay in installments, making this advanced energy solution even more accessible.

In a nutshell, EcoFlow's Black Friday campaign not only offers cost savings but also emphasizes the importance of timely energy management solutions in today's evolving energy market. As winter approaches, now could be the perfect moment for Dutch households to invest in the STREAM AC 5000, positioning themselves for a more cost-effective and sustainable energy future leading into the coming sunny months.
