Kumar also held the role of Chief Financial Officer at a logistics software company, where he had significant oversight over finance, business development, and operational strategy.

Academically, Kumar is well-equipped for this new challenge, holding a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and a master’s degree from UCLA. He also earned an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. His innovative mindset is reflected in his seven US patents and numerous conference papers, showcasing his commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology in the automotive sector.
