Lochner Welcomes Stephanie Reed as Program Director

In a significant new appointment, Lochner, part of the Egis Group, is excited to introduce Stephanie Reed, LEED AP, as the new Program Director for its Program Management Advisory Practice. With over 17 years of extensive experience in overseeing large-scale construction and infrastructure projects in both the public and private sectors, Reed is poised to enhance Lochner’s strategic oversight capabilities in managing complex capital investment programs.

A Wealth of Experience

Reed’s formidable track record includes senior leadership roles, where she managed portfolios ranging from hundreds of millions to multi-billion-dollar capital programs. Her expertise encompasses vital areas such as program governance, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and delivery optimization within active operational environments.

Before joining Lochner, Stephanie Reed served as a Senior Program Manager at Amazon’s Global Engineering, Maintenance, and Sustainability division within the North American Design and Construction team. In that role, she was responsible for the design and construction execution of numerous facilities across the nation, playing a pivotal role in the execution of the company’s annual capital investment strategies.

Additionally, Reed has held senior positions with the City and County of Denver, including her role as Program Director for the Mayor’s Office of the National Western Center. Here, she led the complex redevelopment program, which had an impressive budget of over $750 million. The challenges she navigated during this multi-year project involved intricate phasing processes, coordination with equity partners, and ensuring continuous effective public operations.

Strategic Vision for Lochner

Danielle Smith, the West Regional Manager at Lochner, expressed her enthusiasm for Reed's appointment, stating, "Stephanie's experience delivering highly complex programs within public-sector environments makes her exceptionally well-suited to lead large capital investment programs for our clients. Her ability to navigate stakeholder needs, manage risks, and maintain timelines and budget discipline, all while fostering strong collaborative teams, will be a tremendous asset for our clients and the Lochner program management team."

Reed's professional credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Central Missouri and her status as a LEED Accredited Professional, showcasing her commitment to sustainability in construction and infrastructure development.
