Hisense Achieves Record-Breaking Black Friday Sales Driven by Large Display TVs and Smart Home Innovations

Hisense, a leading name in consumer electronics and home appliances, has set new benchmarks during the recent Black Friday campaign, showcasing its dominance in the market for large screen TVs as well as innovative smart home solutions. The company's remarkable sales figures solidify its status as a global leader in entertainment electronics.

In key markets, Hisense's sales surged, especially among large format premium televisions. This includes a staggering 106% growth in Australia and a first-place finish in South Africa, impacting major retail channels such as MAKRO, OKF, and HIFI. The figures speak for themselves: in Germany, Hisense reported a stunning year-on-year growth of 220%, being crowned as the top brand on Amazon. In the United States, the company achieved a substantial revenue increase of 94%, selling 490,000 units over the weekend, as reported by Circana.

The company’s frontline offerings include premium large screen TVs, notably the 100-inch models, which have dramatically boosted their sales. In the UK, bespoke demands for ultra-large formats and cutting-edge MiniLED technology have become evident, paralleling growth seen in Mexico for high-end products including MiniLED TVs and 85-inch screens. The U.S. market presented an astonishing increase in 100-inch TV sales by 7,504%, and in Italy, MiniLED and large screen sales rose by an impressive 244%.

Hisense's commitment to enhancing consumer lifestyles through smart home innovations has also paid off. One noteworthy product is the BCD-522 refrigerator, which features a smart Wi-Fi mode that allows users to adjust their fridge's temperature settings remotely via the ConnectLife app. This product also integrates a food inventory system that helps users track and manage their food items effectively, including tracking expiration dates and sending helpful notifications, thus enabling smart kitchen management.

The appeal of these innovations has trapped the attention of international consumers. Notably, in Germany, Hisense achieved a record week in refrigerator sales, with premium models capturing a large market share. France saw significant growth within the premium sector, with the BCD-522 model in the UK completely selling out, while sales of this model in France jumped by 176% when compared to the previous year.

Hisense has continuously progressed in the large screen TV segment, and according to Omdia, the company was recognized as the number one brand in the global market for 100-inch TVs in both 2023 and the first three quarters of 2024. Their rapid growth trajectory sees them currently operating in over 160 countries, focusing on multimedia products, home appliances, and smart IT systems. As shown this Black Friday, Hisense's innovative products and strategic market positioning ensure they are well-prepared for the future, dominating both consumer electronics and smart home markets.
