From August 29 to September 7, 2025, Tokyo Station will transform into a fantastical spectacle with the fourth installment of its summer tradition,
Yoi Michi Tourou (Evening Lantern Festival). This year, the event will take place at the
Grand Roof Garden on the second floor outside the Yaesu Exit, featuring around 100 beautifully crafted lanterns inspired by traditional Japanese fireworks. The theme for 2025 is
Yaesu Hanabi, promising a captivating experience for all attendees.
The highlight of this year’s festival is a spectacular
40-meter-long firework projection mapping display that will light up the Grand Roof, creating a magical atmosphere filled with vibrant colors and sounds reminiscent of summer nights.
