Savor the Unforgettable Christmas Dinner Experience at The Capitol Hotel Tokyo

A Night of Culinary Excellence at The Capitol Hotel Tokyo

On December 13, 2025, The Capitol Hotel Tokyo located in Nagatacho, Chiyoda City, will host a one-night-only Christmas dinner event named "Sanno no Mori Culinary Club". This exclusive gathering promises guests a luxurious full-course meal featuring high-quality seasonal ingredients accompanied by live music, ensuring an unforgettable festive evening.

The hotel's location holds historical significance as it used to be home to the elite members' dining establishment, Hoshioka Saryo, founded by the renowned gourmet Rohsan Kitauji. The original Culinary Club served as a venue for prominent figures in politics and business to deepen cultural exchanges through the love of food. The Sanno no Mori Culinary Club beautifully embodies that tradition while reviving the spirit of fine dining appropriate for Christmas Eve.

Now in its fourth iteration, this year's event will take place in an atmosphere of intimacy, curated by Executive Chef Toshinori Sogabe. Guests will enjoy an array of dishes crafted with seasonal delicacies such as black truffles, caviar, sea urchin, and abalone. Each dish not only showcases the exquisite flavors of these high-end ingredients but also carries a creative flair that reflects the original spirit of the culinary tradition.

Guests will feel as if they’ve been transported to a luxurious restaurant, where warmth is blended with a touch of pleasant tension. The carefully selected wines and champagne paired by our sommelier will elevate the evening, harmonizing with the soothing sounds of the piano, creating a gentle embrace for a Christmas feast.

Chef Sogabe emphasizes that a fitting Christmas dish should create “a special memory that resonates deeply in our guests’ hearts.” He is dedicated to maximizing the natural aromas and flavors of seasonal ingredients, inviting diners to engage all five senses with each plated creation. Chef Sogabe's mission is to bring forth distinctive moments that can only be experienced at The Capitol Hotel Tokyo.
