Inaugural Rogue Valley Wine Competition Winners Announced
The first-ever Savor Southern Oregon wine competition, proudly supported by the Coquille Indian Tribe, concluded with an impressive display of local talent. The event took place last month in the picturesque Rogue Valley, where a distinguished panel of judges sampled a captivating array of wines, culminating in an awards ceremony that celebrates the best of the region.
Over 100 exceptional wines were submitted by 45 different wineries, showcasing the diversity and quality of the products crafted in Southern Oregon. A panel featuring notable judges such as Dr. Liz Thach, MW, and industry experts like Jonathan Cristaldi and Ron Acierto assessed the wines based on various criteria including taste, aroma, and uniqueness.
