Products
The company's commitment to sustainability innovation saw 100% of its new products evaluated via sustainability assessments in 2024, a dramatic increase from just 22% reported in 2018. Milliken also became the first textile manufacturer to supply PFAS-free materials for all components of firefighter gear. Investments exceeding $35 million since 2018 in coal phase-out efforts, energy efficiency upgrades, and advancements in renewable electricity and manufacturing practices underline Milliken's sustainable operational practices. Furthermore, their Scope 3 emissions reduction strategy includes engaging suppliers and enhancing sustainability data for products while focusing on low-carbon material sourcing.

Milliken's alignment with the U.N. Global Compact reaffirms its commitment to human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption. The company emphasizes the integration of these principles into daily operations and seeks out projects that further its broader sustainability objectives.
