Tokyo Dome Hotel’s 25th Anniversary Celebration
As Tokyo Dome Hotel approaches its remarkable milestone of 25 years, it is set to unveil an exclusive dining experience at its esteemed restaurant,
Deu Mil. Starting June 1, 2025, the hotel will celebrate this momentous occasion with a limited-time French full-course meal named
Vingt-Cinq (French for twenty-five), curated under the expert guidance of the esteemed Honorary Executive Chef,
Akio Kamada.
A Culinary Journey
The
Vingt-Cinq course consists of seven impeccably crafted dishes, each one a fusion of traditional French culinary techniques and modern flavors. Notably, the standout main dish is an artistic meat presentation designed to resemble a Mont Blanc dessert, showcasing a stunning interplay of aesthetics and taste.
Using premium ingredients such as
Wagyu beef,
truffles, and
lobster, this special menu encapsulates gourmet French cuisine while ensuring guests enjoy a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Every dish is meticulously prepared to be visually stunning, inviting guests to celebrate with their loved ones in an unforgettable dining environment.
The Exquisite Menu
1.
Amuse: Two varieties of amuse-bouche are served, introducing a delightful start to the meal.
2.
Cold Appetizer: The cold beef made from Wagyu combines the unique flavors of sea urchin and caviar, paired with a fresh salad of mesclun. This dish not only offers impactful flavors but is also beautifully presented.
3.
Hot Appetizer: Enjoy the
Ayuta fish pan-fried to perfection, served alongside a unique charcoal bread and cucumber salad, featuring a delectable balance of textures and flavors.
4.
Soup: Savor a chilled white corn and consomme gelee soup, with the aromatic essence of truffles enhancing its richness.
5.
Fish Course: Relish a classic French
bouillabaisse featuring seabass and lobster, intensified by the tastes of seafood and tomato, creating a harmonious yet robust flavor.
6.
Meat Dish: The highlight is a lightly braised
Daitokko chicken enveloping foie gras, served with a truffle-infused port sauce designed to resemble Mont Blanc. The dish showcases fluffiness and subtle sweet and sour notes of the sauce, further accentuated by truffles.
7.
Dessert: Finish with a refreshing
Peach Melba, where the sweet-sour peach compote and raspberry sauce balance perfectly with smooth vanilla ice cream, making it ideal for summer.
Along with the course, coffee, tea, or herbal tea with small sweets will also be served to round off this splendid culinary journey.
