Daisei Group, led by Daisei Holdings Co., Ltd. based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has launched a significant branding initiative by placing a common "Group Logo" on the trucks of its various companies. This strategic move aims to enhance the group’s visibility and strengthen its brand identity amid its diverse operations, which span logistics, food, IT, and hospitality among others.

The Daisei Group consists of 44 affiliated companies, primarily focused on logistics, which includes 25 logistics firms. Traditionally, many of these companies do not incorporate the name "Daisei" into their branding. This has posed a challenge for the group regarding overall recognition and branding in the marketplace. By introducing a common group logo alongside the individual company logos, Daisei Group is taking a proactive approach to boost awareness and improve brand equity on a larger scale.

This initiative has already kicked off with two subsidiaries—Daisei Logistics and Izumi Logistics—deploying a total of 35 trucks as of August, comprising 25 trucks from Daisei Logistics and 10 from Izumi Logistics. Plans are underway to expand this initiative to four additional companies by the end of September, with an ambitious target to increase the fleet of logo-displaying trucks to 150 by the end of 2025.

Daisei Group's vision revolves around "Supporting People's Lives through Logistics", emphasizing the essential role logistics plays in everyday life. The company’s logistics network is extensive, owning approximately 3,000 trucks and operating over 211 locations domestically and internationally. By showcasing a unified group logo, Daisei aims to leverage its existing operations to create a more recognizable and coherent brand image.

In addition to promoting brand unity, this initiative is also a strategic response to ongoing challenges in brand recognition, particularly in a rapidly evolving market.
