Shiogama Port Sushi School Launches in Miyagi Prefecture



Shiogama Port, a well-regarded sushi brand based in Shiogama City, Miyagi Prefecture, has unveiled the opening of its new sushi training program, the "Shiogama Port Sushi School," set to commence on October 1st. This initiative aims to nurture the next generation of sushi chefs with a focus on practical skills and experience.

A Unique Learning Experience in Ginza



The Shiogama Port Sushi School offers an innovative and intensive curriculum that combines training with real-world experience. Under the guidance of seasoned sushi chefs, the school provides a structured program that caters to all experience levels, featuring three distinct levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. The beginner course emphasizes foundational skills such as sushi making techniques, knife handling, and rolling basics, allowing novices to build their expertise step by step. After lessons, participants have the option to work part-time at Shiogama Port’s actual restaurants, where they can earn income while honing their skills.

Promotional Half-Price Tuition and Cash Back Incentives



In a special promotion for the inaugural class, tuition for the beginner course, normally priced at 110,000 yen (tax included), is available for just 55,000 yen (tax included) for the first three enrolled students. Additionally, if participants complete all courses (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) and work at a Shiogama Port restaurant for one year, they will be eligible for a full refund of their tuition fees, up to a maximum of 165,000 yen.

Customized Schedules for First Students



The first batch of students will benefit from a flexible schedule, allowing them to adjust their classes according to their lifestyle. Whether they prefer morning sessions on weekdays or weekend blocks, students can tailor their attendance to fit their personal needs.
