Mynavi DANCEALIVE 2026 KIDS HOKURIKU: A Big Step Towards the Finals
On January 18, 2026, the Mynavi DANCEALIVE 2026 KIDS HOKURIKU CLIMAX took place at DOUBLE KANAZAWA in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. This event is part of Japan's largest solo dance battle, Mynavi DANCEALIVE 2026, which has been captivating audiences since its inception. This competition serves as a platform for young dancers to showcase their skills and compete for a chance to enter the final showdown scheduled for April 2026.
What is Mynavi DANCEALIVE?
Originally launched as DANCE@LIVE in 2005, Mynavi DANCEALIVE is a premier one-on-one street dance battle that has grown to be the largest event of its kind in the world. Dancers face off against each other with DJ-curated music, performing impromptu movements to impress a panel of judges. The winner is simply the one who receives the most votes—creating an exciting and competitive atmosphere.
The competition is divided into six categories: HOUSE, BREAKING, HIPHOP, ALL STYLES, and POPPING, collectively known as the GENERAL categories. Additionally, there is a KIDS category for dancers under middle school age, focusing on ALL STYLES battles. Qualifying rounds are held across eight regions of Japan, leading up to the highly anticipated finals every April.
