Media House Holdings Implements Innovative HRog Chart for Recruitment Analysis

Media House Holdings Adopts HRog Chart for Recruitment Data Analysis

In a significant move aimed at enhancing the recruitment strategies, Media House Holdings has integrated the HRog Chart, a cutting-edge job data analysis service, into its operations. The initiative is part of a broader mission to energize small and medium-sized enterprises across Japan.

With its headquarters in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Media House Holdings specializes in various sectors including recruitment support, web marketing, bridal promotion, advertising production, and other original services. This solution-oriented approach enables the company to tackle clients' management challenges comprehensively.

Introduction of HRog Services

The HRog Chart and HRog Map were introduced in 2016 to complement data from major media outlets and to provide a clearer vision of the overall recruitment market. The implementation of these tools has empowered the company to accurately gauge hourly wage trends, thus improving the quality of proposals offered to clients.

Background and Implementation

When asked about the challenges faced prior to adopting the HRog services, Mr. Hisashi Matsumoto, the Head of Total Planning at Media House's HR Tech SBU, explained, "Although we could easily obtain market data from primary media, we lacked access to data from other major job platforms. Our clients, who often list jobs across multiple outlets, expressed a desire for a broader view of their recruitment situation to inform their strategic planning. This feedback led us to consider HRog's services, allowing us to gather data across various platforms."

Utilization of HRog Chart

Currently, Media House utilizes the HRog Chart and HRog Map primarily during the creation of proposal documents. For instance, when opening a new store, clients often request wage data for competitors within a five-kilometer radius of their target area. Mr. Matsumoto remarked on the effectiveness of the HRog Map in facilitating these requests.

Additionally, all approximately 100 sales personnel across the company’s offices—including those in Sapporo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka—utilize HRog services in some capacity. Initially, these services were mainly utilized by the team handling major accounts, but adoption has since expanded to include teams focusing on smaller and regional businesses.

Building Trust through Communication

An essential aspect of the successful implementation of HRog services has been the strong communication and trust built with the HRog sales representative, Mr. Jun Mizuno. Mr. Matsumoto shared his impressions, stating, "Although we've only been collaborating for less than two years, I feel as though I can rely on him as if he were part of our internal team. Unlike typical sales discussions, our monthly meetings focus more on industry trends, market changes, and other insights, which enrich our strategy conversations."

Mr. Mizuno echoed this sentiment, reinforcing his commitment to prioritizing client needs and building trust through consistent information sharing rather than pushing for contracts or sales.

Success Stories with HRog Services

An impactful example of HRog's contribution occurred when Media House assisted a major restaurant chain with their new store opening. Utilizing the HRog Map to visualize competitor wage data facilitated strategic planning. Without the HRog services, such detailed analysis would have been challenging, showcasing the true value of this partnership.

Reliability and Ease of Use

Mr. Matsumoto notably appreciated HRog's extensive data volume and system reliability. He mentioned how typical system latencies associated with large data sets were almost nonexistent with HRog’s services. This reliability is crucial, particularly when clients request urgent data. Furthermore, the high accuracy of the data provided—a contrast to other services that sometimes present incomplete information—also stood out.

Future Expectations

As HRog continues to evolve, Mr. Matsumoto expressed an eagerness to explore further innovative uses of data that could enhance Media House’s competitiveness, stressing the potential for new applications beyond current market research. Both parties recognize that ongoing collaboration will help unlock new opportunities, combining insights from both companies effectively.
