In 2025, the United States reached a remarkable milestone in its culinary imports, witnessing record highs in the quantity and value of Italian canned tomatoes. Import data indicates that the U.S. brought in a staggering 51,840 tons of canned tomato products from Italy, a significant increase from the previous year's figure of 49,999 tons.
