CIFF Guangzhou 2026: A Global Stage for Home Furniture Innovation



The 57th China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) is set to take place in Guangzhou from March 18 to 31, 2026. Under the compelling theme of CONNECT•CREATE, this year’s event is poised to highlight advances in home furniture and establish connections across the global supply chain. The fair, renowned for its scale and significance, will cover an impressive 430,000 square meters, opening avenues for brands, buyers, and designers from around the world to leverage the Chinese supply chain, keeping pace with global trends and exploring emerging business opportunities.

Expanding Horizons in Home Furniture Design



Reflecting structural changes in the global furniture market, the upcoming edition will broaden its scope by inviting a greater number of brands in sectors such as commercial design, upholstered furniture, dining and living room setups, outdoor furnishings, and interior decorations.

The Asian Design Showcase will span 40,000 square meters, featuring over 100 innovative brands responsible for pioneering upholstery fabrics. This area is designed to meet rising global demands by showcasing solutions that adapt to changing lifestyles and demographic shifts. In Hall D, special exhibits will highlight furniture tailored for elderly care and smart solutions, presented by around 150 companies in a zone dedicated to Senior Living. Meanwhile, the Pet Living segment will emphasize the design opportunities emerging from the growing trend of pet ownership.

In addition, a 10,000 square meter section focused on Smart Living will display products like connected sleep monitoring systems and health monitoring technologies, catering to the increasing demand for healthier home environments. The outdoors will be a key focus, with a 50,000 square meter area dedicated to promoting innovation in outdoor ecosystems and nature-inspired lifestyles. In line with the growing interest in environmentally friendly design, the interior decoration segment will underscore sustainability and cultural heritage.
