Oisix and KURKKU FIELDS Launch the First Earth Beat Fest in 2025

Uniting Food and Sustainability: The First Earth Beat Festival 2025

In a groundbreaking collaboration, Oisix, a trusted subscription service for organic foods, and KURKKU FIELDS, an experiential facility in Kisarazu that blends agriculture, food, and art, are set to host the inaugural Earth Beat Fest 2025. Scheduled for November 8-9, 2025, this unique festival aims to create a vibrant space where the future of our food system can be collectively envisioned and experienced.

A Two-Day Culinary Journey

The festival will take place at KURKKU FIELDS, complemented by virtual events that bring together producers, consumers, and food advocates. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on experiences, such as harvesting seasonal vegetables, and to explore the rich narratives behind locally sourced foods. Special events like farmers' markets, collaborative art projects, and exclusive live music performances will create a multi-sensory environment centered on the joy and stories of food.

This celebration of food extends beyond taste; it emphasizes the connection between our meals and the broader themes of sustainability and well-being. As food becomes a conduit for culture, consumers increasingly seek to understand the impact of their choices on society and the environment. Thus, Earth Beat Fest emphasizes responsible practices that reduce waste, integrate recyclable packaging, and prioritize ingredients with a low ecological footprint.

Addressing Contemporary Needs

The festival aligns with global trends in food events that focus on sustainability and well-being. Participants can expect to reflect on how their diets contribute to personal health and the wellness of the planet. Featuring rice as the central ingredient, the event invites attendees to appreciate their cultural food roots while supporting agriculture and fisheries. By connecting face-to-face with producers, visitors will deepen their understanding of the food they consume.

Expanding Horizons through Events

Since the establishment of the joint company Oisikuru in May 2024, Oisix and KURKKU FIELDS have fostered partnerships that extend beyond festivals. By implementing regular tours and events, they aim to share the philosophy of “the future of farms” with their community. This strategic collaboration leverages both entities’ strengths to promote a sense of closeness to the produce and an enriched lifestyle for participants, who can join both physically at the event and digitally online.

Engaging Art and Culture

At the festival, visitors can partake in an artistic installation led by artist Yusuke Asai, who will transform vegetable-based materials into art on site. The Earth Beat Live section promises enriching performances paired with interactive discussions. Notably, a shared meal event will see up to 1,000 attendees—both offline and online—celebrate with an iconic toast and enjoy a special lunch course by suscrea, a new innovative restaurant rooted in the abundance of the Boso Peninsula.

Moreover, the festival fosters conversation around the ethical consumption of food, featuring hands-on experiences that highlight the life cycles of chicken and salmon. Participants will gain insights from chefs and industry experts on sustainable practices and the culinary journey from farm to table.
