As the early summer breeze arrives, the Hotel Shop Gargantua at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo is ready to treat you with a delightful selection of sweets, baked goods, and savory dishes. This season, we celebrate the 135th anniversary of the hotel with the introduction of the third and fourth chapters of our traditional sweets revival! Adding to this celebratory menu is a refreshing range of seasonal delicacies that incorporate the rich flavors of matcha paired with seasonal ingredients.
Special Offerings
From May 1, 2025, a unique assortment of limited-time products will be available for purchase at Gargantua, located on the first floor of the Imperial Hotel Tokyo, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (with pastries, baked goods, and savory dishes available from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM). For those who prefer shopping from home, items can also be ordered online through the Imperial Hotel’s online shop.
Revived Sweets: A Taste of Tradition
In commemoration of our 135th anniversary, we are excited to present a special project showcasing traditional sweets that have been cherished through the years.
1. Swan Choux - ¥918
Originating in 1971, this delightful choux pastry is handcrafted into the shape of a swan and filled generously with vanilla-flavored whipped cream and custard.
