Discover the Joy of Robotics at Plus One Education's Workshops for Kids

Explore the Exciting World of Robotics for Children

On March 1, 2026, Plus One Education, a subsidiary of Riso Education Group located in Toshima, Tokyo, is hosting two engaging robotics workshops tailored for children: the Beginner Course and the Intermediate Course. These interactive workshops are crafted to inspire creativity and innovative thinking, allowing children to dive into the fascinating world of robotics. With activities ranging from checking parts to assembly and testing functionalities, kids will enjoy a hands-on experience that emphasizes learning through play.

Highlights of the Workshops

1. Beginner Course: Perfect for First-Timers
The Beginner Course is specially designed for kindergarteners and younger elementary school students who are new to robotics. The program encourages a safe and enjoyable introduction to robot-building, supported by staff guidance every step of the way. As a half-day program, it's ideal for children who are embarking on their first experience of making something new, serving as a perfect entrance into the world of creativity.

2. Intermediate Course: For the Aspiring Engineer
Aimed at older children and those who have some previous experience with robotics, the Intermediate Course offers a deeper dive into robot creation. Participants will face more complex challenges that require them to think critically and creatively, nurturing their problem-solving abilities and logical reasoning through hands-on assembly tasks.

3. Fostering Communication Through Teamwork
Robotics is not just about building machines; it’s also about building friendships. As children create together, they naturally engage in dialogue and collaboration, sharing their successes and challenges. Unlike solo projects done at home, this group setting fosters teamwork and social skills, as they learn to communicate and cooperate effectively with their peers.
