Hithium Unveils AI-Driven Energy Storage Solutions at RE+ 2025 for Sustainable Data Centers

Hithium's AI-Based Energy Storage Solutions for Data Centers

At the recent RE+ 2025 conference in Las Vegas, Hithium, a global leader in integrated energy storage products and solutions, presented its groundbreaking energy storage systems designed specifically for AI-driven data centers. This includes their flagship products: the ∞Power 6.25 MWh 8-hour long-term Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and the ∞Power N2 2.28 MWh 1-hour BESS.

The new solutions cater to the demanding requirements of data centers, balancing the need for ecological innovation with operational efficiency. With the increasing reliance on renewable energy sources, data centers are under pressure to enhance their efficiency while significantly reducing costs and emissions. However, the intermittency of renewable energy sources poses stability challenges, making long-duration energy storage solutions essential for ensuring reliable power.

Hithium’s energy storage systems are tailored to the specific demands of AI data centers. Unlike conventional storage solutions that are based on generic models, Hithium's offerings include customizable energy storage solutions that deliver scenario-specific performance and reliability. Specifically, their solution incorporates a back-end long-term storage system with an 8-hour BESS and a sodium-ion battery that effectively manages sudden spikes in power demand. This combination allows data center operators to efficiently handle base loads while also ensuring stability during peak demands, ultimately enhancing the overall reliability of data center operations.

Another notable feature of Hithium’s offering is the proprietary lifespan assessment model for their AIDC ESS, which provides valuable insights into battery degradation, ensuring extended service life under dynamic loads. This capability not only enhances the efficiency and reliability of power supply for AI operations but also significantly lowers the levelized cost of energy (LCOE) associated with renewable energy use.

Kush Sutaria, Senior Manager of Application Engineering at Hithium, emphasized the company’s commitment to enhancing customer operations within AI data centers. He stated that the ∞Power 6.25 MWh system notably reduces auxiliary consumption and maximizes long-term efficiency, while the design of the ∞Power N2 ensures stable performance even under rapid load fluctuations, achieving up to 20,000 cycles.

In addition to its innovative product line, Hithium’s comprehensive approach to service and manufacturing positions it as a leader in the sector. With a fully operational 10-GWh manufacturing facility located in Texas and a local network of over 100 engineers, Hithium can provide effective and timely support services, ensuring that they meet the needs of AI data centers quickly and efficiently.
