Exciting Expansion of the Azabu Slope Curry Project!

The Azabu Slope Curry initiative, spearheaded by the community revitalization division of the Azabu district, is thrilled to announce the launch of new menu items starting March 2 (Monday). With this addition, the beloved project now features 13 unique “local specialty curries” that capture the essence of the Azabu area.

This project aims to highlight and promote the allure of the Azabu neighborhood, stimulating further interest in the region. In celebration of this expansion, an engaging survey is being conducted until March 31 (Tuesday), where participants can win free curry vouchers!

Keyaki Slope Curry
Inspired by the bustling “Keyaki Slope” in Roppongi, this dish elegantly combines flair and familiarity. With a sweet base flavor, it gradually unfolds a subtle spice kick, resulting in a more sophisticated taste. To enhance the experience, this curry is topped with crispy, juicy chicken nanban, balancing indulgence with a lightness perfect for afternoon dining. Just like the lively atmosphere of the slope, diners can enjoy the contrast between sweetness, spice, and various textures in this delightful curry.

Sendai Slope Curry

Rooted in the “Sendai Slope” of Minami Azabu, this dish embodies an exotic charm and robust flavor profile. The spiced broth, enriched with medicinal herbs, offers a layered taste that becomes addictive with each bite. Luxuriously featuring tender simmered beef tongue and beef tendon, this curry delivers depth and satisfying mouthfeel. In homage to the Korean Embassy located on Sendai Slope, it comes topped with yangnyeom chicken, creating a fulfilling dish that boasts spiciness, umami, and substantial volume.

Tanuki Ana Slope Curry
Inspired by the steep Tanuki Ana slope in East Azabu, this whimsical curry tells a story of treasures hidden by raccoons. Each element honors the history of the slope, presenting a unique tale on a plate. The dish features a 3D representation of rice shaped like a slope, hiding melty cheese inside—revealing a “secret flavor” when dug into with a spoon. Using chicken breast, five-part brown rice, and plenty of vegetables, this curry prioritizes health with a low-oil and high-protein design.
