Slate and Smarties Collaborate for a Fun Halloween Inspired Truck Collection

Sweeten Your Ride with Smarties and Slate

As Halloween approaches, the collaboration between Slate, the innovative American auto manufacturer, and Smarties, the beloved candy producer, brings an exciting twist to the automotive world. This partnership introduces a collection of six vibrant Starter Packs designed to bring a splash of color and fun into your driving experience.

Transform Your Truck

Slate is renowned for producing America’s most affordable truck, priced at just $24,950. The unique Slate Truck is not only designed for practicality and efficiency but also emphasizes personal expression through its revolutionary wrap feature. With the new Smarties Starter Packs, customers can easily change their truck’s aesthetic to match their moods or the seasons.

These starter packs are available in six playful primary colors: Blue Raspberry, Cherry, Grape, Pineapple, Orange, and Strawberry. Each pack includes color-coordinated mirror decals, a Smarties-branded rocker decal, a branded Smarties logo decal, a matching Smarties key fob endcap, and an interior Slatelet to keep the fun flowing inside as well.

Affordable Fun for Everyone

The Slate Truck isn't just stylish; it’s crafted for every budget. Priced less than half of the average new vehicle sold in the U.S., this truck allows anyone to become a proud vehicle owner without breaking the bank. Slate’s innovative business model emphasizes accessibility and personal customization, bringing vibrant Smarties colors directly to the road — a sweet possibility for any car enthusiast.

Slate’s Head of Brand and Marketing, Ben Whitla, shares that “Slate and Smarties believe fun should be accessible to all.” He adds, “These Starter Packs exemplify how we’re bringing something universally loved, like Smarties, to life on an actual Slate, allowing users to truly make their vehicle their own.”

Furthermore, Jessica Dee Sawyer, Co-President of Smarties, noted that, “Smarties has always been about small, colorful moments of fun.” With this venture, Smarties is thrilled to extend their colorful brand identity beyond the candy aisle and into the world of affordable automotive innovation, adding a festive spirit to every journey throughout the year.

Easier Customization

The process of personalizing your Slate Truck has never been simpler. Upon preordering your vehicle with a mere $300 deposit, customers can seamlessly order their preferred Smarties Starter Packs any time before their truck is delivered. Once they receive their Bolt Truck, customization can continue with ease via the Slate Marketplace, whose design options extend beyond just candy colors.

From pickups to SUVs, Slate offers various configurations to satisfy diverse tastes. And for added flexibility, vehicles can be converted after purchase, ensuring that drivers can maintain their personal touch as styles shift or seasons change.
