Certiport Announces 2025 Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Champions
On June 18, 2025, Certiport, a division of Pearson VUE, proudly announced the winners of the 2025 Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship held in Grapevine, Texas. This annual event is a celebration of student talent in utilizing Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The competition witnessed over 190 finalists representing various states, who displayed their exceptional proficiency in Microsoft programs. The champions will now advance to compete at an international level in the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship scheduled for July, in Orlando, Florida.
Competing to the Top
Six distinct tracks were available for the competitors, focusing on Microsoft Office Specialist certification in different applications. Students aged 13 to 22 participated by submitting evaluations demonstrating their skills on the Microsoft Office platform. During the live competitive event, finalists were rigorously assessed on their command over either Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, with the top performers emerging victorious.

Each of the first-place winners received a cash prize of $3,000, with second-place winners earning $2,000 and third-place receiving $1,000. Additionally, the winners and their chaperones are awarded a trip to the world championship, a unique opportunity to showcase their skills on a global stage.
