Renowned chocolatier Shunsuke Saegusa has meticulously designed these seasonal delights aimed to celebrate the rich flavors of autumn. Starting September 5, 2025, customers can indulge in beautifully plated desserts that blend the earthy taste of chestnuts with vibrant berries, as well as a variety of French-inspired chocolates packaged in a stylish chocolate box.

New Dessert Highlight: Palet d'Or Ronde Automne


This autumn, Chocolatier Pale d'Or is set to evolve its celebrated seasonal parfait into a sophisticated new dessert called "Palet d'Or Ronde Automne." This dessert features an vibrant assembly of flavors, served on a single plate, designed to be a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The dish consists of:

Pâte à Choux: A creamy praline-filled pastry that forms the base of the dessert.
Tart Structure: Cookie crust topped with sweetened chestnut and rich ice cream, offering a delightful contrast.
Macaron and Meringue: Hazelnut macarons and light meringues that complement the berry sorbet's tartness, creating an all-encompassing taste experience.

This artistic creation invites diners to embark on a unique journey with each bite, letting them customize their combinations according to their preferences. Guests are encouraged to savor the seasonal offerings while enjoying the standout self-produced chocolates integrated throughout the dish.

Pricing and Availability


The "Palet d'Or Ronde Automne" is priced at ¥3,850 (including tax) when paired with a drink, or ¥3,190 for the dessert alone. It will be available from September 5 through November 13, 2025, exclusively at the Tokyo and Osaka locations of Chocolatier Pale d'Or.

Introducing: Chocolat Française Box


Chocolatier Pale d'Or also presents the "Chocolat Française" box this autumn—a chic selection filled with unique French confectioneries designed to harmonize beautifully with the new dessert offerings. Upon unwrapping the elegant ruby-pink bow, a stunning array of gourmet chocolates is revealed, showcasing:

Mound Shaped Chocolate: Infused with the subtle aroma of Port Charlotte 10-year scotch, this Mont Blanc encapsulates a sophisticated flavor experience.
Decorated Chocolate Ring: Nestled inside is the delightful combination of nut-infused pâte à choux and praline, inspired by the classic Paris-Brest.
Texture Variety: With carefully curated meringues and macarons, these treats are designed to provide a diverse palette of sensations ranging from nutty to sweet, showcasing seasonal flavors such as chestnut, nuts, and berries.

Available in two sizes—5 pieces for ¥3,240 and 10 pieces for ¥5,940—these limited-time chocolate boxes will be on sale from September 5 through mid-November 2025 at various locations, including the Tokyo and Ginza stores as well as the online shop. Due to limited availability, these chocolates are expected to sell out quickly.

Meet Chef Shunsuke Saegusa


Head chocolatier and owner Shunsuke Saegusa hails from Osaka and began his career under the renowned pastry chef Yoshikazu Yasui. He established Chocolatier Pale d'Or after extensive training in France, focusing on bean-to-bar chocolate production. Over the decades, he has fostered innovation in chocolate making, garnering several accolades including recognition at international chocolate competitions.
