Neolix Achieves Record-Breaking $600 Million in Series D Funding for Autonomous Delivery Technology

Neolix's Landmark Series D Financing

In a significant boost to the autonomous delivery sector, Neolix, the leading global provider of Level 4 autonomous delivery solutions (RoboVan), has successfully raised more than $600 million in its Series D funding round. This amount marks a historic achievement not only as the largest private fundraising within the autonomous driving industry in China but also positions Neolix among the top private investment recipients in the country this year.

The Investors Behind the Success

The financing round was spearheaded by Stone Venture based in the United Arab Emirates, with participation from notable firms such as Gaocheng Capital, CITIC Capital, CDH, and Sparkedge Capital, among others. This diverse group of investors is a testament to Neolix's strong market potential and innovative approach.

The new funds are earmarked for advancing Neolix’s proprietary algorithms for autonomous driving, expediting product development for new commercial use cases, enhancing service networks, and ultimately elevating user experience. These strategic investments aim to facilitate Neolix's ambitious international expansion plans.

A Rapidly Growing Company

Founded by Enyuan Yu in 2018, Neolix has rapidly established itself as a leader in the autonomous delivery vehicle market. Since its inception, the company has delivered over 10,000 RoboVans—more than any other company globally—and has recently achieved a monthly delivery record of 2,000 vehicles.

Currently, Neolix’s vehicles operate across 300 cities in China, with Qingdao hosting the highest number at over 1,200 units. The company’s X3 and X6 models alone have surpassed 4,000 deliveries each, showcasing robust demand in the marketplace.

Technological Innovations Driving Growth

Neolix’s technological offerings include several remarkable innovations. Their AI model, the Neolix-VA, enables smooth navigation through complex traffic conditions, while a cardless driving system provides flexibility for urban logistics. Additionally, an intelligent dispatch platform optimizes vehicle coordination, routes, and order management, significantly enhancing the operational efficiency of the fleet which has now surpassed 50 million kilometers in autonomous driving.

Since obtaining China's first autonomous delivery license in 2021, Neolix has experienced exponential growth, capturing over 60% of the market share in cumulative deliveries and serving more than 300,000 clients. The company’s influence is particularly noteworthy within the express delivery sector, and it is now expanding into fresh produce, cold chain logistics, and instant delivery services.

International Expansion and Future Plans

On the international front, Neolix is making strides beyond China, securing the first RoboVan license in the UAE in collaboration with a tech company based in Abu Dhabi. This marks a significant step in Neolix's global aspirations, reinforcing its commitment to leading the charge in autonomous delivery solutions.

As Neolix continues to innovate and expand its reach, it remains poised to shape the future of logistics and autonomous driving, making significant waves both in China and globally.
