Vineyard Vines Marks Its Fifth Year as Head of the Charles Regatta's Official Style Partner

Vineyard Vines Celebrates Its Fifth Year as the Official Style of the Head of the Charles Regatta

Stamford, Conn. — Vineyard Vines, the beloved lifestyle brand recognized for its cheerful pink whale logo and coastal vibe, proudly commemorates its fifth year as the Official Style of the Head of the Charles Regatta (HOCR). This partnership, which has flourished since its inception almost thirty years ago on Martha's Vineyard, reflects the brand's deep-rooted connection to New England and its communities.

To honor this significant milestone, Vineyard Vines has launched an exclusive collection specifically for the HOCR, which captures the vibrant spirit and timeless elegance associated with Boston's premier rowing event. This limited-edition line features a variety of apparel, including stylish sweatshirts, both short- and long-sleeved T-shirts, caps, and ties, all adorned with classic regatta colors, oar-inspired designs, and the signature Vineyard Vines aesthetic, catering to athletes, fans, and families alike. Moreover, during the HOCR weekend, an exclusive pop-up store will be available on-site, allowing attendees to browse and purchase these special items.

Ian Murray, co-founder of Vineyard Vines, expressed his sentiments about the partnership, stating, “Being part of the Head of the Charles year after year is more than just sponsorship; it’s a tribute to our deep roots in New England. HOCR captures the energetic spirit and tradition of this region in the fall, and we are proud to be associated with it.”

His brother and fellow co-founder Shep Murray also shared his heartfelt connection to the event, noting, “I’ve been attending the Head of the Charles since the late '80s, and we've seen countless friends of the brand compete over the years. The rich legacy of HOCR is something we treasure, and we’re honored to celebrate this tradition through our apparel, while also supporting the athletes, families, and spectators that contribute to its unique atmosphere.”

As the fifth consecutive year of partnership with HOCR, Vineyard Vines embraces not only the sport of rowing but also the community's dedication to tradition, performance, and the vibrant spirit that both the brand and the regatta exemplify. Tori Stevens, Executive Director of the Head of the Charles Regatta, remarked, “Vineyard Vines has become an integral part of the Head of the Charles experience. As we celebrate our 60th year, it seems fitting to acknowledge five years of collaboration with a brand that genuinely reflects the tradition and timeless style of our event.”

The new HOCR x Vineyard Vines collection will be available online at vineyardvines.com, at select retail locations in Massachusetts, and at the Vineyard Vines tent during the regatta weekend from October 17-19. Attendees are encouraged to visit the tent located on the Charles River next to the Elliot Bridge enclosure (992 Soldiers Field Road, Boston, MA).
