In a significant move towards global outreach, VAGAMES, spearheaded by CEO Son Bum-seok, has officially announced a publishing agreement with Major Nine, led by CEO Park Sung-tae, for their turn-based RPG mobile game, OUTERPLANE. This strategic partnership is aimed at enhancing the game’s presence in international markets.

The announcement was made on September 12, and it marks the start of a collaboration where Major Nine will oversee all global publishing and marketing efforts for OUTERPLANE, working closely with VAGAMES to ensure seamless operations. The two companies plan to leverage each other’s strengths in the gaming industry, with a firm commitment to prioritize user satisfaction in their service strategies.

OUTERPLANE stands out in the RPG scene with its unique world-building, strategic battle systems, and a cast of vibrant characters. Since its launch, it has demonstrated significant success by reaching the top ranks on Google Play in Korea and Taiwan, and securing a spot in the top three in Japan as well. Users have responded positively, reflected in its impressive average rating of 4.5, making it a formidable player in the global RPG market. The game's soft launch in Southeast Asia has validated its potential for further market expansion based on strong engagement metrics and user responses.

Major Nine brings a wealth of experience in entertainment and gaming marketing, with a track record of successful game advertising campaigns. With this partnership, they intend to harness their global network and marketing expertise to propel OUTERPLANE's success. Their approach extends beyond just managing services; they aim to execute proven strategies to boost market growth and enhance brand value, while also engaging directly with users to improve the gaming experience.

Lee Do-aram, head of Major Nine's game publishing division, stated, “This agreement is more than just a transfer of service—it’s an important opportunity for both publisher and developer to collaborate closely and create new achievements in the global market.” He further emphasized the importance of direct communication with users to maximize the success potential of OUTERPLANE.

CEO Son Bum-seok from VAGAMES expressed confidence that the collaboration with Major Nine would strengthen OUTERPLANE's global service capabilities. He highlighted VAGAMES’s commitment as both a developer and operational partner, ensuring stable service and ongoing content development to meet user expectations.

Major Nine plans to maintain transparency by introducing developer messages, monitoring community feedback, and implementing user suggestions right from the transition phase.
