Countdown to China International Supply Chain Expo Features AI Zone for 500+ Exhibitors

Countdown to the China International Supply Chain Expo

The fourth edition of the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) has officially begun its 100-day countdown, showcasing a strong commitment to innovation and industry collaboration under the theme, "Connecting the World for a Shared Future." This year's expo promises to be a landmark event, significantly expanding its influence beyond China's borders as it promotes international partnerships in supply chains.

Over the past three years, CISCE has evolved into a pivotal platform that not only facilitates business connections but also establishes international standards, notably with the inclusion of ISO 25639-1, a terminology standard developed alongside the global business community that aligns with CISCE's innovative approach. Companies attending the expo will have the opportunity to engage with potential partners in supply chain ecosystems, fostering growth and collaboration.

World’s First AI Zone

This year's exhibition stands out with the introduction of the world's first AI zone, providing a comprehensive look at the AI ecosystem, including data management, computing power, and diverse applications. Attendees will be introduced to players from various sectors such as advanced manufacturing, clean energy, smart transportation, digital technologies, healthy living, and green agriculture. This will feature both established companies and innovative newcomers in fields like robotics, drone aviation, and AI-based biomanufacturing, thus marking a significant evolution in supply chains.

In addition to the AI showcase, this edition of CISCE emphasizes purposeful collaboration. Building upon the previous format of having a “country of honor,” the expo will now also present “province guests” for the first time, encouraging foreign provinces and regions with unique industrial advantages to participate. This new approach aims to create more targeted business matchmaking opportunities between international and Chinese entities.

The interest from the international business community remains robust, as evidenced by the previous exhibition where 35% of the exhibitors came from overseas, including over 40 major companies listed on the Fortune Global 500. The participation of 172 foreign delegations demonstrates the global interest in establishing partnerships within supply chains and exploring opportunities within the Chinese market.

Preparations Underway

Preparations for the upcoming expo are well underway, having involved 19 international roadshows to introduce the event to the global audience. Organizers are focused on increasing both the number of international exhibitors and the visiting delegations, with over 500 companies already registered to participate. The recruitment phase is nearing completion, ensuring a diverse representation of industries and expertise at the event.

As the countdown continues, CISCE aims not only to enhance its international appeal but also to solidify its role as a crucial facilitator of industry connections, paving the way for innovation and growth in the global supply chain landscape.
