LX Pantos Accelerates Global Expansion with New Logistics Center in Poland

LX Pantos, a leading global logistics provider, is advancing its international reach with the recent acquisition of an advanced logistics hub located in Katowice, Poland. This strategic investment is part of a broader initiative aimed at enhancing global operational capabilities and strengthening supply chain solutions across key markets.

On March 16, 2026, LX Pantos disclosed the acquisition made in collaboration with the Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Corporation (KIND) and the PIS No. 2 Fund, a political fund under the Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The transaction is valued at approximately $148 million, marking a substantial commitment to the logistics sector in Eastern Europe. The newly constructed logistics center comprises five buildings, totaling an impressive floor area of 109,000 square meters.

This facility will gradually become operational in phases, with completion expected within the first half of 2026. LX Pantos has already secured lease agreements with several global and local businesses, indicating strong market confidence in the project’s potential.

The Katowice logistics center is geared towards establishing an Eastern European logistics hub. It will cater to critical sectors such as automotive parts, consumer goods, and home appliances. Additionally, this site will serve as a forward logistics base to support the anticipated demand in Ukraine as reconstruction efforts gain momentum.

Beyond operations in Europe, LX Pantos is actively pursuing expansion in other strategic international markets, including the United States and Asia. In the U.S., the company has launched a joint venture, Boxlinks LLC, with Ocean Network Express (ONE) and acquired a vast logistics center in Georgia, measuring 304,769 square meters—equivalent to approximately 43 football fields. This project aims to bolster intermodal operations, enhancing the logistics framework across the region.

In Northeast Asia, LX Pantos has established a joint venture named FutureLinks in collaboration with Sinotrans. This venture aims to broaden multimodal transport solutions between China and Korea, tapping into the rapidly growing maritime and air transport market propelled by increasing e-commerce demands for Chinese-origin goods.

"LX Pantos operates subsidiaries in 40 countries and over 380 global networks, providing integrated solutions for ocean, air, rail, and contract logistics," stated Lee Yong-ho, the Global CEO of LX Pantos. "The logistics center in Katowice represents a strategic milestone in solidifying our presence in the European logistics market."
