AI CROSS Implements Comprehensive Internal Reforms to Boost AI Literacy for All Employees

Enhancing AI Literacy Across the Organization



AI CROSS Corporation, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, is embarking on a transformative journey to enhance the AI literacy of all its employees. By July 1, 2025, the company aims to create a workplace where generative AI becomes second nature for all staff members. Leveraging accumulated knowledge from both internal and external environments, AI CROSS plans to implement comprehensive training sessions and support initiatives to accelerate new working methods driven by AI.

Shifting from 'Usable' to 'Mastery': The Next Phase



In its efforts to make generative AI a vital part of its operations, AI CROSS has already hosted free individual AI seminars for external audiences and has had company members speak at various seminars and workshops. These initiatives are part of the company’s ongoing commitment to promote generative AI that is not just a tool but an integral part of everyday work processes. The goal is to increase the number of employees who are not only able to use AI but are also masters of it, ultimately enhancing productivity across the board and driving significant changes in work culture.

Establishment of AI Evangelist Role



AI CROSS has actively collaborated with academia, government, and finance in the Kitakyushu area to promote the use of AI and develop talent in the field. Leading this initiative is Yuji Kikukawa, who serves as the branch manager in Fukuoka and also works as the Director of AI Business Planning and Alliances. He has spearheaded initiatives that facilitate practical knowledge sharing through AI seminars and courses for partner institutions, and he is responsible for conducting individualized seminars for existing clients. Kikukawa has also represented AI CROSS at prominent events like the AI and Artificial Intelligence EXPO, helping to share expertise both internally and externally.

Recognizing his considerable contributions, AI CROSS has officially appointed Kikukawa as the company's AI Evangelist, effective July 1, 2025. In this role, he will promote knowledge sharing across departments and lead practical efforts to embed AI usage deeply into the company’s culture. Rather than simply teaching, the focus will be on collaborative practice and support.

Aligning with its mission of 'Smart Work, Smart Life,' AI CROSS is committed to the enterprise-wide promotion of generative AI usage. The company aims to redefine work time as more valuable by ensuring that generative AI becomes an organic part of daily operations. This latest appointment, along with other initiatives, is designed to accelerate AI utilization both inside and outside the organization, contributing to significant productivity improvements and raising AI literacy in society at large.

Profile of Yuji Kikukawa



Yuji Kikukawa graduated from Kyushu Institute of Technology's graduate school and began his career at NTT West Japan, where he worked on the construction and development of FLET'S and Hikari Phone systems. He then joined NTT DoCoMo, where he received recognition under the company's professional system, working as a serial entrepreneur in various spheres, including d-market services for over a decade. Currently, he is tasked with formulating and executing AI CROSS’s corporate strategy and pushing forward AI and new business projects. Through his leadership, he has spearheaded collaborations for AI talent development and regional revitalization, establishing the Fukuoka branch.

His ongoing contributions include teaching courses on new business creation at the Kyushu Institute of Technology and conducting AI seminars for corporations. With this diverse experience, Kikukawa is well-positioned to lead the charge in embedding generative AI into the fabric of AI CROSS.
