Barneys New York Ginza Reopens with Special Pop-Up Featuring coconogacco

A Fusion of Tradition and Innovation

In an exciting blend of tradition and contemporary design, the Barneys New York Ginza flagship store will be hosting its first special pop-up event in collaboration with coconogacco, a fashion school led by prominent designer Yoshikazu Yamagata. This event marks the store’s reopening after renovations and will run from September 19 to October 8, 2025. The new pop-up space, named UNION SQUARE, promises to be a vibrant venue showcasing the best of Japanese fashion creativity.

Coconogacco, which has been at the forefront of next-generation fashion education, emphasizes the fundamental question "What is fashion?" through its curriculum. Visitors will witness an array of exclusive items from brands like FETICO, KEISUKEYOSHIDA, SOSHIOTSUKI, SUGARHILL, WATARU TOMINAGA, and the label written by, showcasing their artistic interpretations and fashion philosophies.
