La Rochelle’s Executive Chef: Toshiyuki Kudo


Born in 1957 in Imakane, Hokkaido, Chef Kudo developed his skills after graduating from a cooking school in Hakodate. He gained experience in various restaurants before joining La Rochelle in 1985. After serving as Executive Chef and later as a managing director, he was awarded the Tokyo Governor's Award for Excellent Chefs in 2016. Today, he also teaches at a culinary school, inspired by the philosophy that discovering one new dish can bring more happiness than finding a new star.

La Pelouse Tokyo’s Head Chef: Mitsuru Motokoide


Born in 1975 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Chef Motokoide began his culinary career at The Hotel Yokohama in 1994. He went on to various positions, becoming Head Chef at La Pelouse Tokyo after working at multiple esteemed establishments. Chef Motokoide excels in crafting modern French dishes that highlight Kagoshima ingredients while also actively incorporating local Tokyo produce to address food loss and support sustainability.
