New Hiroshima Lemon Delights Coming Soon
FamilyMart is set to sweeten the taste buds of residents in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions with the launch of two delightful lemon-based products that highlight locally sourced ingredients from Hiroshima. The new offerings, a zesty Lemon Cake and a unique Lemon Daifuku, will hit the shelves starting on September 9, 2025, as part of the "OK!! Hiroshima" initiative, which promotes the rich culinary landscape of Hiroshima Prefecture.
What is "OK!! Hiroshima"?
This initiative, launched by Hiroshima Prefecture, aims to showcase the region's exquisite food assets and experiences. Since 2011, FamilyMart has been collaborating with the prefecture to spur local revitalization and celebrate the diverse flavors that Hiroshima has to offer. The collaboration marks a continued effort to bring attention and support to this vibrant district, inviting both locals and visitors to enjoy the unique tastes of Hiroshima.
Introducing the New Products
1. Lemon Cake

- - Description: This delectable cake features a soft and moist base filled with a creamy layer enriched with Hiroshima lemon jelly. The cake is then finished with a sweet sugar coating, making it the perfect treat for lemon enthusiasts.
2. Lemon Daifuku
- - Price: 139 yen (tax included: 150 yen)
- - Description: A traditional Japanese sweet turned modern, this daifuku wraps a creamy filling infused with Hiroshima lemon jelly and smooth white bean paste. It's a delightful fusion of flavors that offers a refreshing take on a beloved classic.
The products will be available at approximately 1,200 FamilyMart stores across the region, including Hiroshima, Okayama, Tottori, Shimane, Yamaguchi, Tokushima, Kagawa, Ehime, and Kochi (with some store exceptions).
