FAW TRUCKS Set to Make a Strong Statement at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026

The 72nd International Motor Show IAA TRANSPORTATION is set to take place from September 14 to 20 at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds in Germany. Under the theme "Engineering the Next Horizon, Delivering the Next Journey," FAW TRUCKS will prominently present five vehicle models, including the notable CORTRON CS600, along with nine core components that collectively tell the story of FAW’s evolution and commitment to the future of transportation.

During the exhibition, FAW TRUCKS aims to illustrate its 70-year journey from its inception to its current industry leadership through a diverse lineup of vehicles. Notably, the stand will showcase three CORTRON CS tractor units featuring both diesel and battery-electric propulsion options. The diesel models, engineered for long-haul transportation, incorporate a new generation of in-house developed core components that promise to reduce fuel consumption by 15%. Meanwhile, their battery-electric variant harnesses an 800-volt high-voltage platform, supporting CCS2 fast charging with two connectors at up to 1,000 amps. Additionally, an option for a megawatt charging system (MCS) with a single plug will be available. This electrified vehicle is equipped with a dual-motor e-axle that achieves a remarkable maximum gearbox efficiency of 94.5%.

FAW TRUCKS will also unveil nine self-developed core components, including performance domains like GD300 and ER540. Their vehicle lineup spans various energy sources, ranging from conventional fuels to battery-electric and hydrogen power, demonstrating FAW TRUCKS’ robust internal development capabilities and readiness for a greener future.

The FAW TRUCKS exhibit will be located in Hall 24, Stand B10, cleverly designed with an open layout emphasizing four thematic areas: Low Carbon, Zero Carbon, Ecosystem, and Future. Each zone will highlight advancements in energy efficiency and CO₂ reduction, showcasing traditional powertrains as well as innovative solutions in new energy sectors, lifecycle offerings, and cutting-edge technologies for next-generation intelligent logistics. Visitors can access detailed product information via unique QR codes attached to each display, while comprehensive details will also be available on a dedicated microsite, enhancing the exhibition experience beyond physical boundaries.

During this year’s event, FAW TRUCKS will collaborate with partners, including FAWER, FAWAY, FAWSN, SmartLink, and Zhuoyu Technology, to display the company’s transformation from a pure manufacturer to an integrated solution provider, offering "products + services + ecosystem." This collaboration aims to pave the way for deeper partnerships with customers and stakeholders throughout the entire industry ecosystem globally.
